Renogy has gotten some great reviews! Pondering a purchase, even though I am without a wheelhouse, at the moment...

The picture is of a 30 amp charge controller, however in the "features" it is indicating about a 10 amp charge controller.

I, too, would call them; get a name also.

I started out with that systems. Worked good during the summer, however it does not have a temperature sensor feature. During the cold months, especially in very cold climates, I suspect that this 30 amp charge controller will not charge the batteries up to their maximum. I would get this package as it is a screaming deal and then upgrade the charge controller to the Renology 30 amp LED display charge controller. The CC comes with a remote temp sensor. Read the operators manual. Neither of the Renology CC's are actually 30 amps if measured by American standards. These are actually 20 amp continuous with an overload capacity up to 30 amp for a few minutes. Renelogy explains in their PDF version of the operators manual.

Trojan does make a good 12vdc deep cycle battery, but I bot 2 golf cart batteries from Costco. These are reportedly made by Johnson Controls and have 700 cycles verses 750 cycles for the Trojan T-105 golf cart battery, and fortunately cost only about $90 each verses $160ea. for the Trojans.

Bob recommends the 68 watts uni solar roll up stick on solar but they have since gone out of business is there a comparable product to the uni solar that anyone can recommend. The idea being for stealth.

Wonder how that renogy bendable panel would work? It's not even a quarter of an inch.
