Upstanding business practices make for great word of mouth and customer satisfaction. Bravo!  The dealer where I used to buy and maintain my cars was like that---over 20 years and we ended up knowing each other by name with very few visits---never found a good one after I moved too far.

This is the kind of business model we truly need more of in the world. I will definitely be keeping it in mind for when it's time for my solar selections. Keep it up! :)

Thank you so much! We're very grateful for all the kind words--it was an honest mistake, and we're happy to take it as a learning experience.

All the best,
The Renogy Team

We purchased the 400 watt RV (with MPPT upgrade) kit last fall and have been very happy with it. More than meets our meager energy needs (about 25ah a day) with 210ah of storage. You did a great job replacing a charge controller with a minor problem, as well. Keep up the good work.

Hi Seraphim,

We're happy to hear that you've been satisfied with both our product and service--feedback is always appreciated. Thank you.

Speaking of feedback, let me give you some more. One of our members lives in a tiny space and needed solar so he bought this product off of eBay for $90. That is a screaming deal and meets many more peoples needs than the Firefly. There is a niche for the Firefly, but this thing would sell like hotcakes if you made it. You would probably have to sell it for more, but I bet you would make a good profit and still it would be a great deal. I'd pay more to get the security of the Renogy name.

Just a thought! Can you take our suggestions up the corporate ladder? You can't get any more valid, real-world feedback than you'e getting right here. In fact I bet your company is paying marketers to get the kind of feedback we give you, and ours is much better!

Hi Bob,

Thanks for the constant feedback, we really appreciate it! All suggestions that I've been getting from the forum gets passed upwards on a regular basis.

As for that particular kit you mentioned, I do know that something similar has been under deliberation, but I don't know whether or not they've decided to go through with it.

A plug and play set up would be much better than the strip and clip you currently have.  It would be well worth the extra few $ for the plugs.

I also use my facebook only for family and friends.  I hate seeing commercials on it.

Here I come looking for new ideas, and to help others with my experiences.  I fully expect my BP to go up here, but not on Facebook.

Hi GotSmart,

Thanks for the feedback, as mentioned previously, it is something that is currently under deliberation. If anything changes, we'll be sure to let you know.
