The need to shift culpability from the user to the tool or object is an unending tail-chase in modern society.  Every New Improvement attempting to make something idiot-proof is followed by a fresh batch of New & Improved idiots.

The problems with making things idiot proof is that they are so darn ingenious :p
 
It's like child-proofing bottles. It gets so that only the kids can open them.
 
The best way to improve vehicle handling especially vans, that I've found (and I've tried most of the stuff out there having owned and operated suspension and brake shops) is to bolt on a RoadMaster Active Suspension kit. With a good set of shocks that's about as good as it gets.
                                                                                                                                                                                                                                           If you have air bags...you may or may not... be able to keep them.

They go for about $450 and bolt on in a hour or two, depending on how many cold drink stops are involved.

Interesting that this came up now.  About a month ago I bought a 2012 GMC Savana 3500 extended cargo van from Penske. I had my undercar specialist check it out.  He gave it a big thumbs up except it was in need of an alignment.  So, right away it also got Bilstein shocks and Michlien  LTX MS2 tires.   I  ordered a Helwig rear swaybar, but was unimpressed with the way it was to be mounted.   That sent me on a quest for a better option.  After a ton of research and a long technical talk with ,Randy of Roadmaster active suspension I ordered up the kit for my van.  I had not seen the above linked video.
 
Very happy with the results, better ride even when empty and much better sway control in turns.

With the tires, shocks and Roadmaster kit my van drives a whole lot better.

BTW:  Penske paid for the alignment.
 
Koni shocks & struts, "yellow".....they'll cost $500 (parts only) for the set but well worth the performance. Not sure if they even make them for vans though.
