Last Saturday while visiting a Frys Electronics store in Palo Alto, California, I bought this refurbished low-spec Android tablet for a whopping $58.00 plus tax. Although this price is for a refurbished model, the tablet seems to be okay and came with the original box packaging.

I don't suggest you use this Android tablet if it's your only tablet because you may be frustrated with the low specs on this device. I'm using this as a 3rd Android tablet, which is essentially nearly a disposable tablet given the price. My other 2 Android tablets are much higher specs and are made by Samsung and Lenovo.

I'm using this tablet for simple Netflix movie viewing, music playing, and web surfing. Although there is only a pathetic 2 GB of usable memory space (or less), you can insert a large micro-SD memory card into the tablet to store your media files. This tablet only has a low-resolution front facing camera (no rear camera), plus the screen resolution is rather low too, but for movie playing it's actually rather decent.

Although it comes with a mini-USB cord (not micro-USB), plus an AC charging adapter plug, this tablet only appears to charge through a wall AC charger (as opposed to USB charging). Another disadvantage is that it doesn't seem to have Bluetooth, which means you can't stream audio to say an external Bluetooth enabled speaker. But you can plug in a 3.5mm headphones for listening to music.

Also of importance, you can only download Android apps using the supplied "1 Mobile" app because you can-NOT download apps from the Google Play store, as this tablet is not recognized by the Android market.

I could not find this same device through the website at Frys Electronics, therefore I'm giving a different link below which I found by doing a Google search. Might make a decent gift to give someone?

Refurbished Klu by Curtis 7" 4GB Android 4.0 Touchscreen Ice Cream Sandwich Tablet
http://www.hhgregg.com/klu-by-curti...hscreen-ice-cream-sandwich-tablet/item/LT7033

Again, this Android tablet has LOW specs, so don't expect higher performance compared to tablets costing hundreds of dollars.
