RedPort Halo Wifi Extender

Does anyone have any experience with the RedPort Halo Wifi Extender? Or is there another that you would highly suggest instead? The antenna and optimizer is about $340.00. I am sure there are much cheaper alternatives.

I saw it a while back. I bookmarked it and I've I've been meaning to try it, but I haven't quite gotten around to it. Looks like a strong way to go.
