Where would i get fresh water in town? I am currently in the federal way Washington area and my fresh water tank is about empty. I know where i can dump grey and black water for free but i didnt see any potable water at the rest area the dumpstation is at... any idea's where i can get fresh water for free? i was going to try at churches but figured id ask here first.
-Wes-

Most convenience stores here have water hoses out front for washing down the tarmac or pavement after gasoline spills. I've driven up to one of them and used it to spray down my radiator and nobody said anything.

I'd bet they'd let you use their water if you gassed up there.

Are you dumping at the rest area near the Fife exit on I-5? The fresh water faucet is just past the dump station on the left hand side but before the RV parking spaces.

I keep a 5 gallon plastic water bottle on hand for those situations. The one's you see in office water coolers. Also a collapsible 5 gallon jug. I can fill those up in many places, or worst case, use a two liter pop bottle to transfer the water. This then also lets you stop at drinking water dispensers. I have also rigged a connection to my water inlet that will then pump the water into the tank. (This last item is really just the process for pumping water tank anti-freeze into the system, but rather than pumping anti-freeze, I was pumping regular water.)
