sitting on a river-bridge playing the banjo...
When these were current, no one would have called them stylish.
Put 50 years of weather on it and a "few" modifications...and that might change.

Car folk...tell me you would not be pleased to drive this one:

VIDEO IS OF OLD RUSTY CAR IN A GARAGE BEING DYNO TUNED.
Besides A/C, it certainly clicks every one of my boxes.

Actually worth watching up to 10 minute mark.
It's not 15 minutes of dyno pulls, he goes into the car a bit.
Check out the underneath pictures...wow!

This... is the music of my people!!! Love the patina. Sounds like the turbos are matched fairly well. Only thing I don't care for are the modern rims. I think it would look much better with some custom wide steel rims with stock hubcaps... then it could be a true sleeper.

I am with you on the rims and tires. I don't like them on newer vehicles but on an older vehicle they are sacrilegious. highdesertranger

It must be a generation thing. My son likes it and I don't (the rims that is). The patina, meh.

Yup.

A nice set of flat black steel wheels with Chrome or stainless polished lug nuts. (Maybe even with white letter tires, depending on taste.)
Even the old "Chrome reverse" steel wheels could be looking good.

Baby moons with trim rings..??

Oh...and AIR FILTERS. (Screw that 3 extra horsepower riiiiight before it flies apart.)
