Seems like a killer deal. Caveat, its a CNG system, I live in an area with this available. Thanks

I believe those tanks are only good for 10 years. so if the tank date is 2011 you only have a year on it. highdesertranger

I would put a deposit on it with the understanding you can have it checked out by a mechanic. Rushed deals seldom work out well. Check with previous owners, do a little research on CNG conversions and then make a decision. Probably be Monday before you can check on insurance and do the transfer anyway right?

I'm not really a car/truck expert, but it seems like an overly excessive deal to me, given the age and mileage. It may be because that type of conversion to difficult to sell, or possibly that vehicle was in a wreck and has a salvage title. In any case, cargurus is a great place to shop.

Not knowing where you live I entered a random zipcode and 2012 into search.

there are some good deals out there just have to be patient. I looked for my van for 3 months (2010 Ford Transit connect xlt) I saw one that if I hadn't just started the long path of filing for federal disability I saw a 2010 ftc with 1500 miles on it. An older person bought it, used it a little got sick and it sat for years in a garage under a cover. Looked like new but not sure about gaskets and belts and hoses... I think he was asking like 12k for it. If it was a backup car I probably would have bought it and worked on it over time. I got mine with 44k miles on it for a little over 8k. Just have to be prepared to look at a lot of shit till you find a diamond in the rough. Mine was poorly advertised on FB market. Bad pictures but after talking to the owner of the garage that had it for sale I went and looked at it and was in pretty nice shape for 9 years old. Had to drop a grand into it (starter went, new battery, and a faulty sensor, and a few other things). Dobby isn't a race car, but I am generally not in a hurry any more but the gas mileage is around 24mpg average and I am good with that for my little adventure mobile!

If you plan on traveling outside of your area, I would avoid a CNG vehicle. Hell... there have been times I have been traveling through Texas when I was sucking fumes and wondered if I’d ever see a gas station.
