If you're planning on having propane in your van why do you want to use an induction cook top vs a propane cook top?

I wanted to have an all-electric setup.  I also planned on using portable induction cooktops which can easily be stashed away in a cupboard when not in use.  I also didn't want to have any concerns about venting (propane leaks, carbon monoxide) or burning the place down, or refilling propane tanks.  I'm a child of electricity, I think.
 
If you go on Ebay you can buy a good used RV oven/stove for $100 or so. They work great..

What size of panel are you looking at? I'm scheduled to pick up a 435w panel for the truck on the second or third in ABQ, NM.

Yeah, we're getting a little off-topic of propane stoves here…

My "final" build out is slated to have 1,700 watts of solar panels.  And enough battery capacity to compliment it nicely.
