My 14 year old propane-powered Norcold fridge worked fine until last night. The inside temperature is rising, even tho the tank is full, the flame is burning nicely, the fins inside the fridge are not blocked, & I am parked level.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to what is going wrong with my fridge?

Does it work on AC power?

If no, or you can't test that part,

Make sure the chimney is not blocked, and look for yellowish-greenish colored residue on the tubes and components on the mechanical side of the fridge, (the side facing out).

Is it making a loud gurgling noise, or do you smell an ammonia smell?

Check to make sure that the sensor is on the fins where it belongs. Mine was knocked off once and the fridge would not get below 50 F.

Thanks, tx2 & Jim. I am out in the boonies near Ehrenberh, so switching to A.C. is impractical. There is no ammonia smell, & I Don't see any greenish yellow residue on the fridge. I think the sensor is in place (altho I'm not sure what it looks like. Tomorrow I can remove the panel to see if the chimney is nlocked.

Thanks again, Jim. I am careful not to park off level. I think I will have the fridge tested tomorrow. Luckily there is not a lot of food in it currently.

Mine was recently revived when I replaced the regulator on the gas tank. It was filed with oil! I was told that Winnebago had bought their tanks from Mexico which had oil in them. Nice.
