I want to make sure I'm promoting my Web-based business as I drive my "mobile office" from city to city throughout the U.S. So far I'm considering:

-Having static-cling banners made for the vehicle's rear and side windows
-Attending local professional networking mixers, luncheons, etc., and following up via phone/email with potential referral partners (If they're trying to reach a regional/national clientele, I would offer to help connect them with other professionals I meet on my travels, if they'll do the same for me)
-Chat with local podcasters, etc, about my experiences as a mobile entrepreneur

What other ideas might I pursue?...

What kind of business is it?
There's always Craigslist

In my case, it's freelance writing for businesses. I've been working with clients in various parts of the country for many years solely via email and phone, so I know it can be done.

Craigslist can be pretty strict about deleting posts that try to advertise outside of one's native city, which is unfortunate since my clients don't seem to care whether I'm local or not. (They used to be quite lenient about it -- good times!) But maybe once I no longer HAVE a native city, I'll be free to post on the local Craigslist for whichever city I happen to be in at the time....It's worth a try!
