I picked up this power source for charging my laptop and cell while boondocking, and for emergency jump-starts.[video=youtube]

Jumpstarter powerpak with an inverter and compressor for occasionally inflating tires.

Needs to be recharged from a power source, like mains, maybe alt or solar.

Link to the replacement battery?

Really, can't open it up?

Most of that bigger old style you can.

I haven't looked at it that close yet, or even used it yet. I'm glad that you asked, because I hadn't even thought about it, but I'll check! Thanks, Harry

Have you tried inflating a tire with it? I know it says 120PSI, but I am wondering about the air flow-rate.

I had a small 12V air compressor from my SUV days, and got a flat tire on my van. We tried blowing up the tire to see where the hole was, but the flow rate was so small and the hole so big, that the tire would not inflate at all. Another guy had a much heavier duty compressor, which blew up the tire quickly, and the hole was then obvious. So, I'm thinking air flow rate matters.

Yes the compressor in those units is pretty useless, break quickly if used much.

The small lithium units are just as good as jumpstarters and take up much less space.

The advantage to the big ones is usually easy swapping out the internal battery.

My brother has a smaller unit of this brand and inflates tires without a problem. Also I have 2 friends with the same model that have used it many times to inflate tires.
