Very cool little stove!
...I'll probably stick with propane though.
I hear'ya. My wife and I are still pondering the possibilities.
The concept of wood stove is inviting especially since we plan to spend much of our lives in the Pacific Northwest, and _sort-of_ move with the sun during the coldest of months. A dry heat is inviting. But having a smoke stack sticking up from a rig blows the idea of stealth and maybe (as others have questioned) the idea of insurance ??

More research for on my to-do list.

Putting a wood stove in a van is a recipe for disaster, given that there is no "OFF" switch. Gasoline vapors from an old vehicle pose a fire risk.

Thom, be careful what stove you choose if you're going to be in the Pac N'West!..
Yuppers! THX for the concern.
I'm like 99.9 % sure we will go another route as we are aware of the regs.
IF we happen to go crazy extreme in the build we might include the gas or diesel versions of the Airtronics room heater depending on what engine we get in Van 2.0...still undecided.
Plenty of threads on pros/cons of gas vs diesel...so won't bother with any of that here : )
