I received the dual fuel GasOne 8k single burner today. Very very similar to the butane one purchased a coupla yr ago. The new one does have a thermocouple for some reason. It comes with a flex hose with built in regulator for the propane bottles. On/Off valve action seems smooth.
So. The female socket on the stove where the gas canister pushes into on the butane only stove is smooth.
The same socket on the dual fuel is threaded for the propane flex hose to screw onto.
I'd be willing to bet that that socket can be replaced with the latter if I wanted to change the butane only to dual fuel.
But.... for the relative low cost, why macgyver something without knowing the safety factor.
