Impressive stability, and my next gazebo. I like most of the videos from "Camping with Steve".

I camped many months in a 9 x 16 Coleman instant tent - Half screen house and half tent. I gave it to a family when I got sick. Now I want it back - or one like it. Easy up and down and after 5 years only 1 minor hole easily taped. 10 min up and 10 min down by myself. I lived in it for at least one month every year and even used it as a butterfly house for our nature kids. We had 6 inches of snow one November and with my 10 by 20 awning set up over top the tent but not touching each other had no problem. good memories.

The Gazell/Clam shelters need some improvements for closing up the entry side. If you can sew you can do that by adding some extra material with zippers to make a closed opening for the entry side. Zippers are OK to do if you do some practice pieces so you understand the method of sewing them in. Then also put some seam seal over the stitching lines as well as a protective fabric flap that covers the zipper or else use self sealing zippers.

The original Clam shelter was a version made for ice fishing. Those are still available for winter time use. Then you would switch over to the summer version for the warm weather use.
