I received a whole series of emails recently from people posing as apple. Every day there was a new one attempting to get me to sign in and fix my information. Always check the email address of the sender. The emails look very official but the email addresses are a give away.

becareful counting on email addresses. they can be spoofed.

best thing is if you suspect an email migh be legit. do not respond to the email. instead call or contact the company involved using a known good contact. like a phne number you already have or look them up.

if the email address has been spoofed and you respond, it might not go so well
