I know this sounds crazy but.... there is a medical research study which will pay you to provide stool samples.  $50.  And you can be compensated for providing a series of samples over time.  For many of us, a few extra dollars can make a big difference.  
Last time I tried, the moderators told me I could not post links, but you can find it by searching for "Persephone Biome" in a search engine.  
If the money is not a motivator, they hope that this research will allow for more effective treatment of cancer.  If you know anyone affected - and who doesn't? -  that may be meaningful.   
As with any study, you should review that FAQ's and terms and conditions and be sure you are comfortable with them.  
I am not connected to the study - except that I have filled out the questionnaire to participate! I do not receive any compensation for promoting it.
