Planning a van conversion for my retirement years

Well I am really getting close to retirement. I plan to retire in 4 years at age 61. I 'm looking at buying a Ford transient and converting it. Like many of you I have more questions than answers. I am taking the time to decide what I want in it, then deciding what model or size I will need.  As you might have noticed, I am a thinker so I am looking forward to a new lifestyle of relaxation. I think this site will help me with my transition! I am watching many utube videos on the pros and cons of this lifestyle. We will keep our house, after all its paid off. This will be an adventure we go on for a few months and then return home. Recharge our lives and then head out again. I am open to any thoughts you would like to share and any advice e you might want to offer.
