Hi, I am from U.S. not from Australia -- just happened to stumble upon a cool link that calculates deep cycle battery power usage based on what you want to run on it. I found this when doing research on how to run my 300w electric heater for up to 8 hours. (I also decided to buy the Mr. Heater Buddy after all but only have the small propane tanks).

I wanted to program my 300w electric heater to run for an hour or two and/or have the electric on run at varying intervals through the night and just use Mr. Heater when awake.

I wasn't sure if I had to ask permission before sharing links though. I just found this site a few days ago.

Given the number of posts you've made, you should be good to go. Try it and see.

I happen to find a page that calculates how many amps I would need to run a 300w heater and other things. If anyone wants to see it, I'll share it. I wasn't sure of the link sharing policies. It is from an AU company from whom I may never buy because I live in USA, but thought it might be interesting.
