I tried driving a ford cargo van from 2002. Being so "blind" on the passenger side, due to no windows, was disconcerting. I thought I once rented a van from uhaul, and I felt comfortable in it.. visibility wise.
I do not recall if the uhaul van had windows.
In any case, are there after marker rear view mirror that are very large ( not just those tiny convex stick on mirrors) and make visibility a pleasant experience. Again, the uhaul was surprisingly easy to see . The ford e150 cargo van was very difficult. of course I had not perfectly adjusted the passenger mirror. I just thought the uhaul had a VERY large mirror, and was a joy to drive.
