I think it might be a good idea to have a separate thread for information about finding and getting into each of the different sites. Plus any information about nearby amenities.

First, I want to double check the location of the turnoff from Highway-62. Is it at this location: https://goo.gl/maps/Vrbwg1jQkow (34°10'35.4"N 114°23'28.5"W)? According to Google Maps, that is 5.6 miles from the T where (old?) 95 and 62 meet (here: https://goo.gl/maps/FR5MBaxP1sy, 34°09'52.6"N 114°18'06.9"W), as mentioned in Bob's instructions.

Next, I want to double-check the difficulty of getting into that area with a low-ish clearance vehicle. I've got a Dodge Grand Caravan with a rack hanging off the back. I'm finding that it drags almost everywhere. (Yes, I'm considering alternatives, but let's discuss that in a separate thread, later.) According to the Google Maps Streetview, it looks as if the berm for that area has been mostly run flat by other vehicles. Is the rest of the road in pretty flat as well? At the very least, is the rest of the road no worse than that entrance?

Once I get there, I will take videos of all the tricky spots and (once I have a YouTube channel) I will post said videos to help people decide for themselves if they can navigate the road.

(I'm currently in the Lake Havasu City area and will camp here one more night before heading out to meet back up with the Caravan Two crowd. I probably won't have signal tonight, so I will check for responses tomorrow morning.)

Thanks
