I just saw this posting on rvnet.
"Hello RV friends!

Camp Blanco RV Park, located on the southern Oregon coast in the small town of Port Orford, is looking for a park host, as our current host of 5 years is going into retirement. We are a smaller Good Sam and AAA park on Highway 101 about 60 miles north of the California border.

We are looking for the same arrangement we have now. Checking in guests, touching up 2 rarely used small restrooms, and selling propane are the main duties. This is very light duty hosting with no heavy park maintenence, mowing, etc. Work days would be Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday (propane is closed on Sundays).

We are offering free RV space and all utilities in exchange. This includes 60+ channels of cable TV and high-speed Internet. *NOTE- we are NOT offering a salary, so if you're looking for income employment this is not for you. Ideally we are looking for a retired person or couple who wants free lodging and utilities, and likes to keep busy doing something. Only 1 person will be on duty so a spouse would not be working at the park, but could certainly help if desired.

Camp Blanco is a smaller, very clean and quiet park within walking distance to everything in town, and just 2 minutes to 3 of the most gorgeous beaches in the country. Cool "banana belt" weather makes our area a huge destination for RV'ers from all over the country. We have a great reputation, great reviews, and many yearly repeat guests. Port Orford is the oldest townsite on the Oregon coast, rich in history and preserved with a quaint, small town atmosphere. There are many art galleries, restaurants, shops, a unique no-river-bar open water port with a working commercial fishing fleet, and lots of things to do and see. Please see www.enjoyportorford.com for more info on the area.

We would like at least 2 references, preferably someone you have Workkamped or hosted for before. And we would like info and if possible, a picture of your RV (year, make, model, etc.) Please email us direct at [email protected] for more info, questions, or to send us your info and references. Thanks and happy RV'ing to everyone!"

So, that's just a fyi for anyone interested.

Howdy: I think you should probably reply on RV.Net, not here. Or google the park to get the phone number and give them a call. I think Nelda was just posting here for a convenience to this forums readers.
