Welcome to the world of the American truck driver...21 days each month. A clothes bag, cooler and food box stored on the passenger side. LOL, that's why I think my Transit Connect is HUGE. :)

The trucker who moved my motorhome to its new owner had a self made rig like that. He built it into the bed and the rear seat of a crew cab super duty and molded it into the truck. It was ugly, but very functional.

I lived in a cab-over semi back in the early 80's. Coast to coast each week.

Me & my dog. We saw ALOT!!

After my truck got sold, I bought an old stepvan and parked it in the back of a junkyard, as a live-in watchdog.

People would ask me "how can you live in this thing??"

Heck, are you kidding me???...why I can stand up and put my pants on now!!! :D

That would make it hard to have a date. Not only is it tiny, the restraining belt would probably scare them away. ;)

Too coffin-like HDR? I can't see if it is a walk-in one or access from your back seat. Does it at least make good storage? LOL

For many years I lived out of sleeper cabs while on the road, and returning to my van between runs it seemed like a mansion.

No it's not. It's the exact same design as every product designed by a government contractor. They all just make up new buzz words for the labels.

WriterMs wrote "Too coffin-like HDR? I can't see if it is a walk-in one or access from your back seat. Does it at least make good storage? I keep stuff I don't want to get wet in it. like books, sleeping gear, clothes, first aid kit, etc. highdesertranger

Hey, don't knock it, it has the magic smoke ampule.

See, that's where they have you fooled. EVERY component is a magic smoke ampule. You just gotta learn how to let it out. [emoji12]

letting it out is the easy part. now putting it back in, that's the problem. highdesertranger

Usually, I can only let the smoke out of one or two components. Letting it out of all of them is what takes the special skill. [emoji6]

Never was able to put any smoke back in. I think they can only do that at the factory.
