I was at the 2019 RTR. Came in my 2016 Prius that I bought just to camp in..... unfortunately it’s too nice and I don’t want to camp in it now. Looking for a cheaper Prius to camp in.... and bought a tent. But it will take awhile because we are upside down in the current Prius.

The eventual goal is a van build so mama can come along. We’ll be using 80/20 instead of wood. Since having the idea several years back I see that others have been thinking what I’m thinking and there are several on YouTube building with it. They’re a bit more well heeled than I, so I have to figure out how to do it less expensively. Or more slowly.

The nice thing about 80/20 is that I can move it to a new vehicle fairly easily if I create things in modules. We may find that necessary if we start out with older vehicles. I’m not mechanically inclined. That’s like a foreign language to me.

Welcome to the CRVL forums! To help you learn the ins and outs of these forums, this "Tips, Tricks and Rules" post lists some helpful information to get you started.

Most of our rules boil down to two simple over-riding principles: 1) What you post should provide good information (like your introductory post), and 2) Any response to someone else's post should make them feel glad they are part of this forum community.
