North Florida weather is just awful

Left sunny warm SW Fla on Tuesday to travel 165 miles north. As of today maybe 2 hours of partial sunshine in the last 5 days plus windy and damp.

But there is one good point that the flying insects are minimal

It's a pretty much normal winter up here. This time of year, it is cold and frigid, or it warms up a bit and rains. Nothing out of the ordinary for North Florida. I've been here nearly all my 58 years. Seen colder, seen warmer. The science squirrels may call it "Climate Change". We call it weather. :)

This last week has been unusually overcast. Now we had rain all day!

The warmth and rain has our red bud trees blossoming out early. We generally get another frost or two in early March. Ma Nature likes to tease us at times. All part of Florida living. The gators and skeeters will soon be on the move too.

Miami just got a huge rain storm and had massive flooding. Here is a picture from Miami yesterday Feb, 28 2015:

Are you sure this is where you would rather be?

You are a pansy arse mr loo reed, its
just beautiful here and you couldn't have found a better place for a gathering, except its a little creepy here.

Right now, at 4:45PM, it is 79 degrees, clear and sunny in the Sunshine State del Norte.  Beeyootiful day.
There was a flood warning earlier, but it was a very localized area right on the river.  Some homes stupidly put into a very low lying area that commonly floods.   Some people......    :-/
