Just retired. Getting my 2015 GMC Savana 4x4i-zed in March. Getting ready to hit the road. I need to get the INSIDE done. Any recommendations? THANKS!

Welcome to the CRVL forums! To help you learn the ins and outs of these forums, this "Tips, Tricks and Rules" post lists some helpful information to get you started.

Most of our rules boil down to two simple over-riding principles: 1) What you post should provide good information (like your introductory post), and 2) Any response to someone else's post should make them feel glad they are part of this forum community.

We look forward to hearing more from you.

Make a temporary bed out of totes or milk crates with a piece of 1/2” plywood for your mattress to sit evenly on and try out sleeping in the van to see what works for you. Build as little as possible keeping as much open space around the bed as you can once you get it to where you get a good night’s sleep. Everything revolves around being able to get comfortable enough to get a good night’s sleep.

Welcome to the forum Tclemenets. Hope all goes well. You have a lot of us salivating when you say you have a 4 Wheel Dr., Savannah. And you are at the right place to get advice on that buildI hope you watch Bob’s videos. The advice you already got about starting simple using it for a while and figuring out what you want to do as you go is some good advice. Again I hope you do well and maybe we’ll see each other on the road hopefully by the road not on the road you know what I mean. God bless the nomads each and every one

Are you looking for a facility that does this kind of work or   build ideas/suggestions/pointers?
