I just bought a new 17' City Express, got a great deal on it. Are there any NV200 / City Express drivers here? I'm looking for some suggestions and experience on modifications. I know I need a vent, twin frame, battery and battery isolator. But what else?

My city express came standard with this rubber mat, I can't imagine being able to bolt the twin frame down into it, any alternatives for that? I'm hesitant on insulation, not sure if it's really worth it. I do plan to camp out on the slopes in Colorado for a season but spend the summers by the bay. Do you normally keep the vent running even in very cold weather?

Yes, the City Express was not very long on the market.

Hi. I have a 2017 Chevy City Express. I use it for camping and for road trips to visit family. Everything so far is pretty makeshift. And I haven't done anything about insulation yet. One thing I have figured out is how to use the lowered, flat front passenger seat as the foot end of my bed. That helps open up some space in the cargo area. However, the height of the bed is determined by the height of the folded over seat, and it's too high to sit up, so the bed can't double as a place to sit. As I look forward to retirement and more time traveling and camping I need to come up with a better arrangement. Keep us posted on your modifications.
