Watched a YT video of a couple that built out a decent solar system / sprinter van.

They used Newpowa 175w panels.

My plan is for 6 160w Renogy panels, but I could fit 6 175w Nnewpowa panels instead.

They are about $20 more than the Renogy 160w panels.

That's an extra 95w with 6 panels

Does anyone have any experience with this brand?

Here is a link with the specs listed. They also sell them on their website.

Newpowa uses 12 gauge wire instead of 10. That turned me off. Grape Solar will give you 180 watts if you would like another option?

I looked at Newpower but they are a Chinese company with little to no support here in the States. They are also Mono panels I believe and the Poly panels may be better in indirect sun. I went with Renogy 160 panels, and I also used six of them.
here is the controller I used and it has been working well. The only issue is if you are using 12 volt batteries, wire the panels for 12 volts as well. This controller did not like 24 volt panels feeding a 12 volt system. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01KJ2VTLW/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o05_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1

They have an office in Las Vegas and warehouse in California.

Checked the specs and their 180w panels will fit.

Sent them a message to check on pricing.

Thanks

Home Depot sometimes has Grape Solar panels on sale. You might be able to get free ship to store from them as well.

They have on sale now for $218.

I have been using a 175 watt panel from the above ebay seller fred480v for two years. Fits sideways nicely on E150
round bar roof rack. Better than advertised output. Less than a dollar per watt.
