Hello everyone.. I am an old van owner that has just returned back.  I am reaching retirement soon and hope to do a little more  traveling around.
I have bought a high top express 1500 and already traved to New Mexico , north Carolina and nova Scotia  to check out Oak island.( I did get to meet Rick Lagina ! ) I have a youtube channel   ( Dangerous Hicks ) and document a lot of my travels and projects . I am editing a video of the buck beds i have made for the van and also a cabinet for storage with freezer converted to refrigerator.

Looking forward to sharing ideas with everyone!!

It sounds like you are good to go.  I have read Travels with Charley, but it has been awhile.  This book, also a documentary, does pretty good homage:
