What awesome news... welcome to the forums... I wonder if we'll get a van picture. What kind of van is it? (I don't have one yet... I'm traveling in my car for the next few months at least... to WRTR and RTR, hopefully.)
Hi there Travelaround! Yay I’m excited for you too! I’m trying to be fluid in my decisions and I’d love to got to the RTR/WRTR too.
“Ruby” is a 2000 E-150 Club wagon that was wheelchair accessible but now it’s just a van!!!!
Thank you for asking about me.
You’ll get great support while at the RTR/WRTR, what an experience it will be!!! Lovely travels to you!
Thank you I’m so thankful to the owners who gifted the balance of $300 to me. Gonna be busy for awhile fixing it up. Hope you are having a good evening
I’m heading on a bus right now to pick her up 72 miles away. Then we’ll head to the gas station and parts store to check everything before we head home to get her all cleaned up!!!
Welcome RubyTuesday to the CRVL forums! To help you learn the ins and outs of these forums, this "Tips, Tricks and Rules" post lists some helpful information to get you started. We look forward to hearing more from you. congrats on the van. highdesertranger
Thanks. I just brought her home today. I’m a little overwhelmed but thankfully I have all of Bob Well’s videos that have helped a lot. It took three hours to take screws out of a wacky shelf ha!
If your going to strip the seats out for the build, I watched a video last night , he used PCV pipe . It was a lot lighter then wood and since all the pieces were short it was very strong . It gave him a lot more storage under the bed too. Compared to a wood frame
wow that is sweet. I can sure hear your excitement in your post
have a fab time making it what you want and safe travels on the road!!! I know you are one happy van owner with that!
Hi everyone! Just my introduction....haven't done a thing yet....somedays I feel overwhelmed and not sure where to start.

Yes I feel that way too. I’m just watching videos of similar vans to glean some knowledge. I know we can do it! Thanks to everyone for sharing their experiences.
