I'm from downtown Long Beach, about to retire early but not here where my rent in the last 3 years went from $1200 to $2000. You probably have it worse up there in Frisco, or so I've heard. I'm going to buy a van, build it out, travel the U.S. for a few years, and hopefully in my travels, find a nice place to settle. Or something along these lines.
