I have a Unisolar on my white painted fiberglass roof, as well as a framed panel.

The roof under the Unisolar does get much warmer compared to the rest of the roof, especially that under the framed panel.

I have added only 1/2" of foam board insulation in the ceiling.

I don't really consider the extra heat from the Unisolar to be a factor. I have enough air movement. The black conversion van windows radiate way more heat to the interior. Bungeeing a couple pillows over the sun facing windows will easily offset any unisolar heating.

thanks for that guys, I guess if you get a little heat from it on cold days that would be a bonus and on hot days not so good.
Stern Wake if you have one of each and if you were to do it all again which way would you go, regular panel or stick on panel

If I had to do it over. I'd get a single larger framed panel, and a cc which could handle it. And had a battery temperature sensor. The unisolar is good in low light, but I could not fit 3 up there and 200 watts is what I consider minimum for my uses
