Greetings to all!

I am new to this forum but not to living in a car/van. If the right set of circumstances came along, I would gladly live on the road (or water) full time. Since they do not yet exist, I stay warm but lonely in my house.

Joining up to this forum so I can offer some travelers safe harbor. I have ten acres and would gladly shelter some van homes for various lengths of time, if they need it. I am open for help to make my property an oasis for travelers with the right group of vagabonds, let me know if you are interested.

Happy Trails,
Ardent Angel

That is very generous of you... In what part of the country are you located?

Oh yes, probably should have said; Mid-Michigan, close to I-75.

and thanks! This seems like a very well run forum :)

Welcome to the tribe.

DW and I llve in Cincinnati. We often travel to Michigan. Perhaps we can swing by for an overnighter sometime to visit. She just retired and I'll be free from work before the end of spring.

There's a good group of people here.

Welcome, AA!

What a kind and generous offer! I was just talking to someone the other day about co ownership of a home base among like minds. It's an interesting concept. I do travel through Michigan once or twice a year and would love to park and enjoy your company (or at least your hospitality)

I left a link on another post of yours regarding RVing families.

Never been to Michigan, but I imagine I'll get there eventually. The moderators here are great; just let them know if you have any trouble... Come to think of it, they're usually aware of trouble before we are.

Welcome Ardent Angel,
I'm based about 60 miles west of Chicago, but looking to head south REAL SOON. Possibly any day now. Michigan is very nice in the summer, but snowy in the winter. I did a bit of skiing in the U.P. when I was younger. Now it takes too long to recover from the bumps and bruises.
