SW, Yes lots of things do affect the amp hours/watts needed. Just adding my Reflectix cover on 3 sides of my Engel fridge adds about 60 seconds between start cycle of the compressor. It behooves folks to insulate and increase the flow of air across the condenser and then it all pays off.
