Hi everybody,
I have been reading articles and watching videos for a few months about van dwelling. After thinking about it for quite a while I am almost convinced that I would like to go the cargo trailer route. The only hesitation I have is that I haven't read anything about stealth camping in urban areas in a cargo trailer. Since I am just about ready to pull the trigger on my decision I would like to get your input.  Thank you in advance for reading this and for taking time to provide your opinions.
Sincerely,
Joan

Copied from where I posted in error in someone else's thread. I'm sorry about that.

I posted in your wrong thread.   Hi again!

My post  from that  thread:  Hi and welcome.  Cargo trailers can be pretty stealth if you set them up right.  "stealth" mostly has to do with location as well.  Park on a street with a lot of busy bodies and anything might get called in.  Park anything in a walmart and no one really cares.

Welcome aboard the CRVL forums Zannadid.
Stealth parking has more to do with how you park than where you park.

A cargo trailer still attached to a pickup or van looks like it is just that , parked.
OTOH
The same rig separated with some camping gear out ,chair ,table , stove , bicycle , maybe a dog or two tied to the bumper. Loud music , etc etc etc
Well , you get the idea.
Would be very hard to call stealth and it would attract way more scrutiny by whom ever....
