I just want to say: It gets better. It does.
Unlike some, I would never, ever want to be in my 40's again. In fact, aside from being 15 (which you did say was a very rough time for you, too), that was the period in my life when I was the least content. Research shows that to be true for many, with life satisfaction increasing dramatically over the next 20 to 40 years! For lots of women, hormonal changes aggravate any predisposition for depression. Not trying to say that its just that, but it can be an additional challenge.
Finding a homeschooling "tribe" you feel comfortable in is worth pursuing! As you know, there are as many ways to homeschool as there are families (or even kids within the same family). I could go on about that nearly as long as I can about vans, so I'll spare you. LOL!
Lastly: Make that call to a support help line. People on the other end need to be needed and really can be there for you.
