This thread is off the original track but forest bathing is a much better topic than not bathing.:)  I want to Recommend an essential read for all - "Last Child in the Woods; saving our children from nature deficit disorder"  By Dr Richard Louv.

Or just google his name or that title to read about his organization.  The principles  he teaches are focused for children but of benefit to all ages.
I will start a thread for discussing this and nature bathing.  thank you
That is a great book, it is one of the reasons I left the big center childcare place I was working at and started doing it at home. I was amazed at how some families had totally lost the way into the 'woods' and how some kidos REALLY lost the love of playing outdoors. This book put the words to what I was seeing. And we live in a space that is mostly rural! I can't imagine how some families are doing now that they are stuck indoors so much because they don't have an outdoor area.
Any way I would strongly recommend this book. I think it should be given out to ALL first time parents. But maybe I'm just nuts that way.

Probably yet again off-topic (sorry) but my physical therapist who has her PhD from USC told me going barefoot is very good for your body and she does it around her house for that reason. She also said that while it’s not bad to use treadmills in the gym, we use more and different muscles walking outside. And finally my orthopedic surgeon said he’s seeing 20 year olds with the necks of 60 years from growing up looking at phones and pads. So more reasons to be out in nature barefoot. ? And look up into the trees and stars!

vanbrat - that book shpuld be required reading before you take the baby home from the hospital. Can you imaine what the last 2 months would have been like if the net went down and screens did not work? WOW
