This morning, while I was cleaning up invalid posts and links in the free e-books thread, I nuked the entire thread.

While most of the posts and links were no longer valid there were a number of posts with links to books that are relevant and free. If you happen to remember any of those please post them in the new thread.

Again, please accept my apologies.

Thanks, Cyndi

Oh no! I think most of us know that agonizing sinking feeling in the area of the heart when computers eat stuff. It's a horrible feeling! So I hope YOU are ok. Lists can always be recreated.

You know I always hear "once it's on the internet, it lives forever". That's just not true. There are things that you want to live forever and they disappear into the void. My theory is if you don't want it ti live forever, then it does. If it's something you want, it will disappear never to be found again.

Like Phred's poop sheets. They are very hard to find. I have a hard copy and I keep moving an electronic copy from one computer to another. There is also A Simple RV Hydronic Heating System by Jim Phypers that I can find text and I can find the image but not together. I have it copied to my computer too.

Think there are way back machines on the internet that let you go back to old pages. Never used them.

Agreed.  My primary Dual Sport MC forum got totally nuked due to a malicious attack last year, and a huge amount of technical info, trip info and all else got lost - forever!  It was a tragedy.  They rebuilt the forum but all that info was lost!  Some equivalent tech stuff is on Youtube, but it just is not the same.

Cyndi -- just glad you do the free book listing discussion thread. It's good to collect free books for amazon kindle.
