OP.............That's so true..........I want one of those signs !

Amazon sells it

BTW, see post #151 in the "Humor" thread down in OFF TOPIC AND CHIT CHAT . . .

Abnorm, if you have any local feed stores, see if they have the sign before paying Amazon for shipping. And having to wait. I think I saw that one at my feed store, but bought the "One cat short of being a crazy cat lady" one for my sister. (The rumor is that if you have 13 cats, you're definitely a crazy cat lady. She has 12.

Gardinias.........Yes small and medium............Two Cats ?

They were purchased one at a time........Medium first .....seemed too big for inside the van if necessary......cats love it outside on the ground

Second purchase small octagon......works great on a folding card table I plan on traveling with........ONE cat likes to sleep in it overnite in the S&B

They fold so small it's easy to pack and go...................doug

Thanks OP.................. I saw that !

Hey TrainChaser..............I actually found a doorhanger style of that sign in our junk while downsizing........I plan on getting a local signpainter/pinstriper to paint that on the passenger door along with the girls names...........and something on my door as well.............I had that on the old '66 Ford Van back in the day.......a good ice breaker/conversation starter..........

I think making an effort to acknowledge the cats are "living" in the van (safely with ventilation and water) should thwart the do-gooders re: police reports of pets in vehicles........ALSO I've got a little magnetic sign that addresses the cause with humor and my cell phone #.......I'll share later doug

"... I've seen and heard of several instances where loose dogs or wildlife have dug/torn through the weakest points to get at unprotected pets..."

I remembered your post as I gazed and imagined these soft-sided enclosures outdoors...even if supervised...so back to the drawing board, I think...

I'm going to put my cats in an 8' diameter mesh tent during the day, and carry a can of bear spray. I can neither afford nor carry the weight of a heavy-duty steel enclosure that will protect them from cougars, bears or aggressive pit bulls. Most of the time, you just can't have all the options you want.
