Motels around Los Angeles ?

I was going to suggest a campground.  but alas it burned in the last fire and is closed.  highdesertranger

Which one was that?

 Do you know if  the top part of los padres national forest, the part close to the beach Sal.... something district is on fire now? I am in the lower part not going to LAX couldn't figure out dogs?

the campground I was talking about is Applewhite. it's on Lytle Creek in the San Bernardino National Forest. 10 bucks a night and close to the I-15 freeway. highdesertranger

the whole northern part of Los Padres NF is closed. http://www.fs.usda.gov/Internet/FSE_DOCUMENTS/fseprd517246.pdf . I was wrong part of the forest appears to go all the way to the beach. highdesertranger
