I've never been to The Wall. A friend of mine makes a pilgrimage every year but It's not for me.

I've been back to Vietnam, hired a college kid for a translator and we took off. Went back to PhuLoc 6 where my bad night happened, nothing and no one there. All that's left of An Hoa Combat base is a bit of the runway.

Hue, where my first taste of combat occurred is back to being very pretty, but if you look close you can still see the bullet scars. We went to Hanoi and a bit farther. I didn't go with a group, a friend has a manufacturing plant there and he arranged everything.

I've gotten so far off track that I derailed my own thread. I will ask a mod to close it.
