piece of sh*t. how many miles do you think you could put on that thing. my money says that thing never gets close to 200k. I understand(I think) about the rad look appeal, but totally unreliable. highdesertranger

There is no way Batman is leaving his aunt stranded on the roadside, this thing has roadside assistance direct from Wayne Enterprises, you can rest assured.

I posted this as a joke, amigo. I think you might want to take your humor detector in for servicing. ;)

no problem Mr. Noodly. I just didn't want an inexperience person thinking that's the way to go. I have seen more than a few threads about jacking up independent suspensions. highdesertranger

LOL
what it was, it was a great minivan, the best minivan, i dunno how a minivan could be better than that minivan

I find the minivan the single most versatile and allround useful vehicle type made. It's the "Swiss Army Knife" of motor vehicles.
Just wish they had better ground clearance.
I am considering having helper springs added to the rear of mine, but lifting the front is more difficult. Might require taller coil springs.
Most minivans have one serious flaw though. The rear axle is a drop down type, and is the lowest thing underneath. It is very exposed and liable to be damaged when going off pavement in rougher ground. I have whacked it a couple times.
The only way to lift it is using taller tires.

I have since learned that it was a promotional vehicle by Toyota. It's basically a Sienna body on a Tacoma chassis. So 200k miles, no problem.
