Miles Driven

I am trying to get an idea of how much I will spend on fuel.

For those of you who do full-time disbursed camping and try to keep your driving to a minimum, how many miles do you put on your vehicle in a year?

If you make a special trip or two a year, just subtract that out, please.

Affordable travel is one reason we have a van and we usually do about 5-6K.
If we stayed in Az (south, winter-north summer) we could cut that to about 1/3.

My family minivan gets about 19 mpg on the highway. over time, however, it decreases with ware and tare, no matter how good your mechanic is. My general rule is this : "If its got a million miles on it, then there's a million things that could go wrong"
