I believe there are still groups of people gathering at Quartzsite or nearby, that would be easy to just follow the posts here and arrange to meet up with one of the group and introduce yourself and see what develops as people and plans change.

A "Caravan" (as arranged last year in the Western states) is a group destination camping experience......not necessarily a CONVOY of vehicles from one destination to another..........Members know the next location and travel plans are your own.....Last year most Caravans used FaceBook......HOWA still relies on FB
