Greetings to all! I'm so very glad to have found this site and the many videos that are available regarding the nomadic lifestyle! Also, very glad to see so many women living this way! I've decided that to make the jump to the freedom of the nomadic life May 2017 when my apartment lease is over. Lots of research still to do. Me & my pack (2 dogs) are planning to live in my Jeep Patriot. Might get a small cargo trailer to carry my must haves for now & maybe convert to live in later. I believe this lifestyle is what my soul has always wanted but I have been trapped by conventionality until to  now. Looking forward to meeting others living this way, hope to learn a lot, hope to contribute to others who live this life of freedom!  CD McG, Toby & LB

Ask around before buying a cargo trailer.  Some brands are worth the money and others are buying heartbreak.
I'm sure there are those here who can speak to this.  What is to avoid ?  Leaky roofs, shoddy tires,  flimsy suspensions that don't hold up and cost lots in repairs.

Welcome to the forum! I just recently took that leap as well, I just went for it and it has been the most amazing experience. You can see what I have done to my vehicle here www.adventuresofrick.com I am in the process now of adding a complete solar setup to my vehicle and should have a video of it within the next week or so.
