I am buying two solar panels from a company in Phoenix and am trying to avoid the freight charges. If anyone in Phoenix can pick them up for me I would pay you for your time. I will be coming thru Phoenix soon or even better if you were coming east we could meet.

Rob

Where are they, and how far east? I'll be heading from Phoenix to NM on Sunday. If they aren't too heavy and will fit in the motor home without much issue I can help.

They are now claiming to be out of the ones I wanted. Deal may not happen. Thanks for the offer though.

Rob

Gunny, they probably had them on a United Air Lines flight, and they tossed them. :D

needed to move some United Air Lines freight, so they dragged them off and beat them up

I think some of it is my fault, I had talked to the salesperson twice, first about mono panels and then shifted gears to poly. They are used to selling large quantities and he was kind enough to sell me (or try to) two panels with a 20 dollar fee to split a four pack up. It was , and is, a great price and I will go back.

There's been a lot of things going on in my little world and I am taking a break. No solar for awhile, just pack the trailer and go get the dent fixed and other small things done.

Searching for things I know little about is no fun for me, in fact it creates what I am trying to get away from; stress.

Totally get that, Rob.  Seems like we take what should be a very enjoyable time in our lives, and complicate the hell out of it.  Don't know about you, but I'd learn all I need to know far better having a conversation with someone like Jim, sitting around a campfire.

FWIW, I just bought suction cups at home depot in the flooring area:

Apparently good for pulling dents, too. check out a couple of the youtube videos

might save you a bit of money, maybe time, too. And you'll have a nice new tool, too!
