I can send you a bottle of 'white-out'...

:p

Yeah, the roto-molded coolers have really come down in cost since they can be made off-shore now...and quality is usually pretty good.

I own two Yetis and one Igloo, all roto-molded and high quality, vs several cheap coolers bought over the years.

No comparison.

The high quality roto-molded coolers have sturdy hinges and handles, and you can physically jump on top of one...it wont break or crack like the cheap ones. And oh yeah, they keep ice and food cold, a lot longer...

You can get a 26 qt ozark trail cooler for $86 (https://www.walmart.com/ip/Ozark-Trail-26-Quart-High-Performance-Cooler/55703255) at Walmart although the reviews on that one aren't great.

I trust Aldi's house brands much more.

I currently have a 40/50 quart range Igloo Marine that I purchased in 2003. I think they run around $50 these days. That works pretty good, though I haven't done a head to head ice test on it, like on YouTube. I wouldn't recommend anything less than that unless in an emergency situation.

I'm continuing to use my combo cooler refrigerator/12v Freezer strategy, running my 12v during the day only, in temps up to the low 80's. It works pretty good, but the compressor on my Dometic CC-40 (the second tier line) is marginal enough that after three weeks and emptier storage it starts to thaw out. I maintain ice in the cooler with three half gallon juice containers, rotating one into the freezer.
