Mid TN where my wife is from has frost warnings for tonight. Michigan's a great place to live IMHO!

This morning woke to frost on the pumkin. First frost this fall at Kamp Koon and 13 days later than last years 11 Oct. Each year the first frost occurs later & later.

Today I start another house & cat sitting detail till 3 Nov after which it’ll b time for jonny boi to head south toward a warm sunny beach.

We are expecting our first frost this week too. Time for some good books and some hot cocoa and time to get the woodstove ready for use.
Maybe next year we can escape to the warmer weather places. But until then the leaves will be pretty the hot drinks are yummy and I have a warm place to be.
Enjoy your time at the beach and hopefully your favorite one is still ready for and didn't blow to crazily away.

I’ve begun the unofficial countdown to leaving Michigan for the winter anytime after 3 November.
Today I’ll be working on van prep: oil & filter change, tire pressure, wipers, etc.
sanitize 20 gal water tank, already went into town filled propane tank and bought the van stuff.

Also; use the leaf blower as part of the house sitting chores.
