I have 3 LED fixtures designed around the LED's. Very white light, but not bright enough for ambient lighting.

I had bought replacement bulbs for Incandescent fixtures from Vled's and Autolumination and they were too dim and too blue, and nearly all of them have total or partial failures. and put the incandescent bulbs back in, but found I really didn't like the orange(in comparison) color anymore. and the 0.7 amps for a light bulb seems excessive, when my fridge does not use that much juice in an hour.

I recently tried 2 wedge base LED replacement bulbs for ~10$ from Amazon, and was impressed with the brightness, and ordered two more. Slightly blue but tolerable.
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B007638HZE/ref=oh_details_o02_s00_i00

I made a l bright task light around an incandent fixture that drew 1.2 amps, and recently replaced those bulbs with LEDs that draw 0.18 amps and give off a similar amount and similar color of light.

Now All my LED's light up my interior greatly, and draw less current than a single incandescent bulb.

This pic was deliberately underexposed to show LED color, it does not show light intensity. 7 hundredths of an amp draw.
