These are a good stealth solution, and have been discussed on here before: https://vanlivingforum.com/post/Fle...h-Top-5712125?highlight=solar+flexible+panels . They are less effiecent than the framed crystal panels but way more stealthy. Also I think if you ever need to move on to a new vehicle, removing them and reinstalling them on the next roof will be very difficult and possibly damaging to the panels and therefore the framed panels have an additional edge as you can easily un-install and re-install many times without issue.

The Unisolars are 15.5" wide. The 68 watters are 9 feet 4 inches long. The higher wattage ones are much longer. like 16 feet.

Note the panels do not like bending in two directions. They cannot stretch, and once adhered, are permanent to whatever they are adhered to.

I have 3 unisolar panels on the tonneau cover of my truck. Trick was to slice them to the length you want and solder a couple of wires together before sealing up the edge.

They are much less efficient but as mentioned much more stealthy. I didn't want thieves to see them but I also was interested in the durability of them. They were tested in hurricane conditions and can basically be pelted with golf ball hail with no problems. They are also easy to clean and look sweet!

That being said, with the 3 panels, connectors and extra wiring, I'm only getting about 85 watts total, I could have spent less money, gotten twice the wattage, and fit them in the same space. But I'm still glad I went with the flexible adhesive panels because they look so professional and no one knows they are there.

Here are a couple pictures of my rig and laminate solar panels.

I've been extremely happy with them and as mentioned before, no one even notices them, let alone could get them off without much effort.

This is a custom job as each of the 3 panels were originally over 3 times longer.

-Noah
